The voluminous 81m (266’) motor yacht AIR was spotted by yacht photographer Kees Torn in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, on April 28, 2015. Built by Feadship to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects in 2011, luxury mega yacht AIR boasts an exceptionally sleek and elegant exterior with modern lines, with a beautiful matt black steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. She is believed to have arrived at the Merwehaven in Rotterdam for a refit.
Magnificently designed by Remi Tessier, the beautiful interiors of superyacht AIR provide elegant and comfortable accommodation to a total number of 12 guests. There are seven spacious staterooms, including an amazing split level owner’s suite, two guest cabins on the upper deck, one on the main deck and three on the lower deck. In addition, there is a breath-taking sun deck, providing a well-equipped gym, lounging areas aft and forward with Jacuzzi, as well as a 102” pop-up television screen for outdoor movie viewing.
Super yacht AIR represents the first luxury vessel built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad. Among other fine features aboard this striking vessel belongs an elevator to all decks, massage and steam rooms, as well as a huge foldable swimming platform with bar.
