17m motor yacht Vivante 55 Hard Top by Vivante Yachts represents elegance, comfort as well as modern materials. Designed by the renowned Dutch studio Vripack, the steel Vivante 55 yacht boasts an amazing sheer, a classic flared bow and double bulwarks, but also a taut superstructure with large tinted windows. The window section extends all the way aft, creating the illusion of a floating roof. The first Vivante 55 HT will be on display during the Vivante Yachts house show on 13, 14 and 15 April.
The CE category A yacht was made to travel the seas, but its 4.90 m beam also allows it to reach the Mediterranean via the French canals. In addition the Vivante 55 HT yacht has a mast-lowering system, thus reducing its vertical clearance to 3.40 m.
Stylish and functional
The steel motor yacht Vivante 55 has everything it takes for a long stay on board with the crew not wanting for anything. The cockpit – with a lazy staircase on either side, giving access to the spacious swimming platform – has a round seating area offering room for six persons. The garage with room for a tender is located underneath. The cockpit is connected directly to the wheelhouse by means of four French doors. This is also where two lounge sofas with water views, a wet bar and the steering stand are located.
The wet bar features a washbasin and a wine cooler amongst other things, but can be easily converted to a full-size guest seat by means of an ingenious system. The leather upholstery of the dashboard gives the steering stand a contemporary look. The most important functions of the yacht can be controlled and read out on three diagonally placed screens – this is where style and functionality come together. Another eye-catching feature of the steering stand is its open character, which creates a wide spacious effect. This is further enhanced by the wheelhouse’s sliding roof, which can be opened electrically.
A bed the same size as the one at home
The forward section of the luxury yacht Vivante 55 HP is reached via a staircase. On port one can find the U-dinette with its contemporary design. The starboard side features the well-equipped galley with the same U-shape. With a microwave/oven, modern cooker hood with diagonal ribs, adjustable-height tap, countersunk thermostat, double washbasin, ample refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.
The bathroom with head, beautiful modern washbasin and ditto mixer tap and a shower area that can be closed off is located further forward. The guest cabin with its free-standing bed, plenty of walking space, a cupboard and a wardrobe is located in the bow. The owner’s cabin is located aft. It features a free-standing bed the same size as one´s bed at home, a bathroom and head in two separate areas, and a large built-in wardrobe. Two spacious cupboards with drawers on both sides of the cabin.
Comfort-raising features
The Vivante 55 HT yacht sports a contemporary design with modern materials such as white-washed oak, wenge, stainless steel, leather, Corian kitchen tops in the galley, bathrooms and toilets. As a special feature the panels used for the wainscoting do not quite sit together, making them look as if they float. Practically the entire vessel features LED-lighting. The blue LEDs in the roof overhang and the bollard casings. As one would expect from a yacht of this calibre, the Vivante 55 HT comes with comfort-raising features such as air conditioning, glued windows with double glazing to eliminate condensation, electrical bow and stern thruster, generator and equipped with state-of-the-art navigation equipment.
Vivante 55 HT is by no means Vivante Yachts’ only success, because in addition to this 55 HT the yard is also presently building two Vivante 43 Cabrio Cruisers, while the sketches of a fast aluminium Vivante 65 are currently on the drawing board.
