As part of its strategic business expansion, Vicem Yachts has launched its all-new VULCAN 35m/118’ Trideck motor yacht Julem I. Since 2012, Vicem has been enlarging its horizons beyond mahogany construction into high-tech composite construction, with the delivery as well as the launch of two new sleek, fast yachts for its Vulcan Line: VULCAN 46m yacht and VULCAN 32m/105’ yacht.
Vulcan 35m – Trideck comes from the Vicem Vulcan series. World class, fast and light the Vulcan Series yachts add long range capabilities for ocean voyages together with an outstanding and durable low maintenance exterior. The Vicem 35m is a fantastic design and is just as fast and beautiful like his older sister, the Vulcan 46m. The yacht design is again a build featuring the best materials and absolutely no compromises.
VULCAN 35 M TRIDECK
When designing the 35m Trideck, Vicem wanted to incorporate spaces and volumes found in much larger tri-deck motor yachts. A Frank Mulder design, this Tri-deck provides excellent quality of life on board for up to 12 guests and is certified for RINA Short Range Charter Class (RINA C ✠Hull ● MACH Ych Charter Short Range, EFP (Rina No:88038) Turkish). The generous exterior spaces on the three decks are complemented by a beach-pad that drops-down from the stern garage, allowing guests to fully enjoy their rest and relaxation by the sea.
With a top speed of 20 knots and a range of 1,600 Nm @ 12 knots and 950@ 16 knots (cruising speed) this Vicem creation is a very versatile player for the super yacht segment. In addition, Art Line design has been the choice for the interiors – repeating the great successful collaboration as on the Vulcan 46 metres.
Vulcan 35m trideck is a five stateroom yacht (6 cabins layout is also available), including a full-beam master suite and two full-beam VIP staterooms. There is a captain’s cabin on the main deck and two double crew cabins with a lounge and galley in the crew area. Tenders are hidden in the foredeck (to achieve a sleek exterior look) and there is additional garage storage at the transom.
ART-LINE INTERIORS- Designers Frank Pieterse and Marilyn de Vaal – refers: “We enjoyed designing this yacht very much. This yacht reflects the essence of yachting; a great climate, the warm sea, gentle reflections from the water through the windows and specially designed open outdoor spaces to give a sense of relaxation and welcoming. In order to create 4 suites, 1 VIP stateroom and two identical owners suites, we established an organic flow between the levels of the indoor and outdoor living spaces, thus generating a sense of space that belies the size of the yacht.
In the rest of the public spaces we created a very light, dramatic look, with a repeating signature running through the interior bringing the interior and exterior interaction into a continuous focus With details of the interior that were inspired by the woodworking and wooden boatbuilding heritage of Vicem Yachts, integrated with the contemporary art and architecture we are committed to, we aspired to generate a sense of holiday fun with a hint of formality, beautifully crafted with the finest material. This yacht is a real family yacht, designed for the whole family to celebrate their holiday”.
THE VULCAN SERIES FROM VICEM
With world class, fast and light yachts for charter or private use, the Vulcan Series adds long range capabilities for ocean voyages together with an outstanding and durable low maintenance exterior. Due to the latest design and construction techniques, interior volume has been increased when compared to many other yachts in the same size range. Interiors are tailored to client requests and can be fully integrated with exterior colors, styling and finishes due to Vicem’s “total customization” attitude and superior construction techniques which allow finishing in dark colors and/or metallic painting. The Vulcan Line yachts are built in a state-of-the-art facility in Antalya, Turkey. Composite materials, applied with resin and sandwich techniques, are chosen to achieve the best possible strength-to-weight ratios.
All Vicem plants are clean, pleasant factories without unhealthy vapors that exist in other yacht building factories that use cheaper polyester resins that are loaded with unhealthy styrene. Even the Vicem Classic and Cruiser lines utilize the more expensive and sophisticated epoxy resins in construction. Integral tank construction was also introduced with the new Vulcan series, which provides more internal room for accommodations and the ability to carry more fuel for oceangoing trips at lower speeds. Frank Mulder designed fast hulls for the Vicem Vulcan series with a fine entry for rough sea conditions yet still very fuel efficient at slow displacement speeds.
RINA and/or MCA compliance and certifications are always available on any Vicem Yacht. On the Vulcan series RINA and MCA are part of the project, which brings Vicem to a new level for offshore cruising and chartering.
