Australian design company Sabdes Yacht Design has recently presented its new 85 – metre superyacht concept, with a platform engineered by Icon Yachts. Sabdes specialises in design and development of a wide range of projects: from 8 metre powerboats to 150 metre megayachts. Scott Blee, the founder of Sabdes Yacht Design, emphasises creativity, innovation, style and current fashion in the yacht design. The latest design concept is universal and can be adapted to several different 80-90 metre platforms serving the demand from some European shipyards.
The new design concept is offered in two versions: with either a conventional bow or with a modern axe bow shape for extended waterline length; and the superstructure can have overhanging aft balconies or the balconies can be integrated into the superstructure. Propulsion type will depend on the builders engineer platform, with having an option of a hybrid propulsion for a full custom design.
