West Istanbul Marina in Turkey is now operational and open for business. The new superyacht marina has 10 pontoons and a dedicated megayacht pier for vessels of up to 55m (180ft) as well as a dry-rack boat storage system is said to be the first in Turkey, with capacity for more than 360 boats of up to 7m (23ft) in length. The West Istanbul Marina is located on the west coast of the Marmara Sea, 17km from Atatürk International Airport.
West Istanbul Marina’s jetty and breakwater are designed to offer safe mooring of the yachts in the harbour which provides moorings for both short and long-term visitors. In the marina vicinity there are shopping facilities, yacht sales offices, restaurants, cafes, bars, a supermarket, yacht market, yacht club, sailing club, swimming pool and a private beach,
The marina also provides a wide range of technical services for motor, electricity, painting, wood, polyester and sailing maintenance works.
