The 37m/123ft motor yacht DESTINY (ex ILONA) is now available for Western Mediterranean charter throughout the summer season after a comprehensive refit with new interiors by Laura Pomponi of Luxury Projects – a long established name in the yacht building industry. Built by Heesen in 2007 and last refitted in 2016, she represents an excellent opportunity to charter a finely crafted superyacht with plenty of fantastic amenities on board.
The owner requested an ‘all white’ yacht with a modern minimalist aesthetic to display his artwork, where functionality was foremost. Given a time frame of just over three months, Laura Pomponi took the design from concept to realisation, contacting suppliers and contractors to complete the interiors within the scheduled window.
The result is a brilliantly bright interior that takes full advantage of the natural light using reflective metallic and glass surfaces. This effect is particularly distinct in the main salon and dining area, where the vibrant artwork and the warm tones of the wooden flooring integrate perfectly into the design. Laura Pomponi adds to the gallery ambience through the ‘waving’ dining table and ‘glowing’ coffee table in three pieces to catch the eye of charter guests.
The salon towards the main deck aft benefits from the floor to ceiling silver foil finish panels and sliding doors, with views stretching far beyond the alfresco dining area on the port, aft and starboard sides. While the children are watching a film on the widescreen TV, which can be hidden away seamlessly when not in use, adult family members can enjoy relaxing in the afternoon sun.
There are plenty of dining options throughout luxury yacht DESTINY, and visitors to the sundeck will discover an immaculate environment for alfresco dining. The sun pads and shaded Jacuzzi will see use throughout the day, yet it’s in the evening when the sundeck becomes the most atmospheric: Underfloor lighting creates a relaxed atmosphere and the glow from the Jacuzzi will tempt more than one charter guest on a hot summer night.
The choice selection of water toys will entertain guests of all ages and fitness levels and consists of a jet-ski, a windsurfer, a Waverunner and 2 inflatable kayaks.
Design details across the accommodation include bespoke wall lights, handmade foil recesses on the ceiling and wallpaper on all of the headboards in each cabin. The accommodation layout will sleep up to 10 guests in 5 cabins: 3 double cabins, 1 twin cabin and 1 children’s cabin. An experienced crew of 5 will ensure that every guest is well taken care of throughout the journey.
Superyacht DESTINY is available for Western Mediterranean destinations from €105,000-€119,000 per week plus expenses. Contact CharterWorld to book your summer dates and avoid disappointment.
