The all-new Wider 150′ yacht is currently under construction at the new Wider shipyard in Italy‘s Ancona. With the passion and dedication that the local craftsmen are known for, the hull of motor yacht Wider 150’ soon started to take shape. It was especially satisfying for Wider Yachts to see the bow section, a distinctive feature of the Wider 150’, taking shape, and another significant milestone will be achieved when it is joined to the main body of the vessel.
With a project as important as this Wider Yachts was very aware that a new shipyard alone would not be enough to guarantee the high level of quality that they intend to deliver, they would also need an experienced and knowledgeable team of Project Managers. For this reason, Eng. Juan José Balaguer Mora joined Wider Yachts last year as COO, bringing with him a wealth of experience acquired from decades of work in some of the world’s most renowned super yacht manufacturers. Eng. Balaguer shall soon be overseeing the construction of the WIDER 150 yacht’s spectacular superstructure, ensuring that the project keeps to its carefully planned schedule on time for launch early next year.
As the Wider 150′ superyacht rapidly takes shape, the WIDER technical department is being kept busy fine-tuning executive drawings and implementing modifications designed to improve the final product. The finest suppliers have been sourced, and delivery schedules are being drawn up to allow Wider Yachts to maintain the momentum that the project has built up. The company looks forward to reporting back to you in the coming months as the WIDER 150’ yacht continues to move steadily towards completion.
