Williams Performance Tenders, the world-renowned company specializing in the construction of jet tenders, has proudly announced that this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has been its best US show to date. The company, which celebrated its 10th year in business this year, saw promising signs of confidence returning to the market, and was amazingly delighted by the level of sales achieved during the event.
Mathew Hornsby, Sales Director at Williams, commented: “We had a great show! We saw interest and sales across our entire range of Turbojets, steamjets and our new Sportjet, with orders being taken on the stand from OEMs, as well as customers looking for a standalone day boat. We were really pleased to meet so many new customers – with some visiting the show to specifically check out our stand.”
Williams also used the show as a platform to launch its new Sportjet 460 yacht tender – an exciting performance boat that is powered by the industry-leading BRP Rotax® engines.
Founded by brothers Mathew and John Hornsby in 2004, Williams has established itself as the world’s leading jet tender specialist, renowned for its range of Turbojet and steamjet models. The company now employs 50 staff at its Oxfordshire base and is supported by a global team of factory trained engineers. Williams produces up to 700 boats per year and had a turnover of £11.2M in 2013.
