Wilsonhalligan Large Yacht Recruitment and BachmannHR Group are pleased to announce that from 1 June 2012 they will start working together from one office, situated at 5 Avenue Paul Arene in Antibes, France. Being the first venture in France for both companies, they will mainly concentrate on yacht recruitment.
The office is located at the heart of Antibes’ yachting district and just 50m from the famous Blue Lady. It will be run by experienced individuals who will be available to register and interview candidates as well as offer career prospects and advice on how to find the most suitable position for them within the yachting industry.
The decision to expand into France is a calculated part of a careful plan says Nick Saul CEO of BachmannHR Group. “It is very exciting and represents a further step in our strong, strategic growth. As the leading offshore employer of mariners in Europe, the opening of the office in Antibes, together with an alliance with wilsonhalligan, will enable us to accelerate what we can offer the yachting world by passing on the experience we have gained over 30 years within the commercial shipping sector. I am especially delighted to be working with the highly-regarded wilsonhalligan and in particular Terry Wilson whom I have known for over 20 years.”
Terry Wilson, Director of wilsonhalligan, stated, “We have been looking to open our first office in mainland Europe for some time with Antibes being a favoured location. We are delighted to become a part of its iconic name, world renowned as an ever-present haven to the yachts. The approach from BachmannHR to form this alliance in south of France, fits well with our own plans to continue our year-on-year growth for the balanced expansion of the wilsonhalligan organisation. Whilst both companies will maintain their independent status, we are keen to work with BachmannHR, in Antibes. They are a well-respected organisation with a quickly-growing involvement and reputation in the yacht world. Both companies want to develop a lasting relationship for their mutual benefit and that of our local candidates, clients and the yachting community.”
