The construction of the largest Wim van der Valk vessel, the 30-metre motor yacht Continental III Flybridge, is due to start in April/May 2013. The beautiful Continental III Flybridge yacht belongs to the Continental III series, available in sizes of 26, 28 and 30 meters. The Dutch builder is currently working on the 26m Continental III yacht, scheduled for delivery in August 2013.
In every way the all-new 30m luxury yacht Continental III Flybridge can justifiably be called a Super Yacht. She is of a modern design and naturally she features the typical Wim van der Valk looks and style which will stand out and turns heads in every marina. The vessel has been especially designed to sail and operate with a crew. And this in such a way that, where it comes to crew and owners/guest interaction, maximum privacy for master and guests is ensured.
The Continental III series of yachts features the following:
– A three level layout, as follows:
– On the lower level the engine room (with full standing height), with has very good access from inside as well as via the special large door on the swimming platform.
– In front of the engine-room we have a very large area which is available for cabins, bathrooms etc.
– On the middle/main-deck level, connecting directly to the large aft deck, you will find the saloon. In the front part of this level one can find the large dining area which connects to the kitchen. These two area’s are connected via a hallway. This hallway has a side door directly to the side deck.
– On the upper level there is the fly bridge.
– Halfway between the fly bridge and the middle/main deck level you will find the completely separate wheelhouse. Also the wheelhouse has access via the hallway mentioned before.
– On the upper level one can find fly bridge which can also be accessed via the wheelhouse.
– Accessibility to the different area’s of the ship are plentiful and very practical and in such a way that it will always ensure maximum possible privacy.
– On the front deck, naturally, Wim van der Valk offers a very large sundeck area.
Naturally the standard equipment on the Continental III Flybridge yacht model is extremely complete. As in all Wim van der Valk ships the interior of course is 100% “Custom-Built” according to all client’s special needs and wishes.
There are more or less unlimited possibilities in layout, design, style and materials. Up to the smallest details Wim van der Valk will build exactly what client wishes. Also on the exterior there are some possibilities to meet his personal requirements and wishes.
The Continental III yachts are of a “hard-shine” design and available in both a Steel (Full-Displacement) version as well as an Aluminium (Planing) version. The Steel / Full displacement version is equipped with a Conventional drive system. The Aluminium / Planing version is standard equipped with the revolutionary Volvo Penta IPS drive system.
