Currently under construction at the state-of-the-art WIDER shipyard in Italy‘s Ancona, motor yacht WIDER 150′ took an important step forward this month, when work began on her superstructure. The hull of superyacht WIDER 150′ already cuts an imposing form, and the addition of a superstructure starts to give a real sense of the volume that the yacht will boast.
Aft sections of the superstructure were lifted into place in the middle of May, and interior bulkheads have already been secured below the main deck level. “The superstructure is divided into five sections,” explained Project Manager Juan Jose Balaguer, “we shall be fitting three of them on to the main deck, and then the final twod to take two months.
The WIDER 150′ yacht is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2015 and has already received wide acclaim from the yachting industry for her low emission diesel electric propulsion system and intelligent tender wet launch system.
