The evening of 20 July, 2013, in the fabulous Mediterranean yacht charter destination – the Cote d’Azur, was marked by the World Premiere of the new model of the Monte Carlo Yachts range – luxury motor yacht MCY 86, a 26-metre flybridge with megayacht qualities. The event offered an unforgettable experience, thanks to the mix of the atmosphere of the South of France, the gala dinner as well as the new MCY 86 yacht herself.
A handpicked selection of guests including boat builders, editors and journalists from some of the world’s most important magazines joined top management from Monte Carlo Yachts and Groupe Bénéteau to celebrate the unveiling of the new luxury yacht MCY 86, the fourth model from the Monte Carlo Yachts range. The event was also attended by designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard and the team that oversaw the development of the yacht.
After appearing in the open sea alongside a breathtaking full moon, superyacht MCY 86 reached the private dock of Villa Key Largo at Cap d’Ail. Here, guests were able to get a closer look at the vessel, to the accompaniment of a performance by renowned violinist Saule Kilaite.
Once on board, all the guests expressed admiration for the design solutions, the quality of the decorations and the functional nature of the MCY 86 yacht, all elements that make the vessel comparable to a fully-fledged megayacht.
Monte Carlo Yachts 86 yacht will be presented to the public for the first time at Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes, from next 10 September. There will also be other models from the range: MCY 76 yacht, luxury yacht MCY 70 and MCY 65.
