Mega Yacht ORCHID is a 88 metre Luxury Superyacht project by the renowned yacht designer Luiz de Basto and the German shipyard Lurssen Yachts.
This fascinating new project features a reduced number of cabins for the yacht of her size. Yacht Orchid can accommodate maximum of eight guests, thus providing more space for public areas and making the cabins more spacious.
The Owner’s suite has been designed on two levels. The suite itself is located on the main deck, which is connected to the Owner’s lounge on the upper deck, thanks to a private stairwell, occupying a total of 245 square metres.
The traditional pilot house windshield has been designed as an outstanding private sight through which the owner of the MY ORCHID can enjoy the views.
The overall exterior design of the SuperYacht Orchid Project is the most impressive of all. This six deck luxury motor yacht features beautifully consistent and fluid lines making her stand out wherever she goes.
This design deviates from the regular standards or cliché and breaks the classic concept of building by decks, creating a homogeneous stern to bow passage without any interruption; the idea of an open walk around with an easy alternate of wide and long steps, moving from one deck to the other above while walking aft to bow, is really unique in the modern yacht design. Decks are blended and reproduced one on top of each other following the inboard walk-around, creating a highly functional layout and a breathtaking exterior profile.
There is a large elliptical pool on the main deck of the magnificent new Orchid Yacht Project, as well as bright and spacious main salon and dining room. Another guest boarding is through a folding starboard side balcony located at the lower deck where the large theater media room is provided.
Luiz De Basto‘s signature harmonious design is illustrated throughout the all the decks, resulting an entirely sinuous and bright space, each and every stateroom provides large windows and ensures a high level of natural light.
Watertight door gives access to the large tender garage, through the engine room of the Project ORCHID, featuring large lift up doors on either side. The space planning provides total separation between crew and guests, even separated elevators for the guests and crew from the lower deck to the bridge deck.
SuperYacht ORCHID comes fully equipped with a large selection of amenities, such as a red and white wine storage and of course a gymnasium and a spa.
Orchid Yacht also comes with two wing stations on the bridge deck, along with the wheel house at the same deck and a HVAC rooms located at every deck, all below 3000 Gross Tonns.
A touch-and-go helipad the last great feature of this luxury MegaYacht ORCHID, having the luxury to offer a fly bridge as well, despite all the overall proportions. Almost hidden around the mast, the sixth deck is just an amazing addition to enjoy the scenario.
And the overall result of this Magnificent Mega Yacht ORCHID? An inspired balance of form, function on a vessel with a very special personality and the solid quality of Lurssen engineering and construction.
