‘Vava’ is an interesting name for a yacht, however it is not known what the word emanates from is or where it was derived from. The first VAVA is a 47 metre Feadship motor yacht which was launched in 1996. That yacht was owned by the successful and well-known Italian/Swiss yachtsman Ernesto Bertarelli a pharmaceuticals magnet and owner of the ex-America’s Cup team Alinghi, which held the Cup for 3 events. Whoever the yacht owner, she is certainly a magnificent spectacle which is sure to be seen cruising the Mediterranean during the summer of 2012.
