Launched in Auckland, New Zealand, the new 39.5m metre sportfisher Hull 1015, now called LANAKAI, is the latest yacht built by Yachting Developments. Hull 1015 is the largest all-carbon sportfisher in the world.
Apart from her outstanding all-inclusive fishing setup, this yacht features stylish design and outstanding performance capabilities.
The exterior profile was penned by Michael Peters Yacht Design (MPYD), while her interior was created by Yachting Developments and Naylor Booth associates, who worked closely with the yacht’s owner.
The main deck boasts a large salon and adjoining galley, which leads to the mezzanine cockpit, the bridge saloon and helm, and the flybridge.
“As a fishing and diving platform the vessel is truly enormous, and she incorporates everything expected of a sizable motoryacht in a sleek sportfisherman’s profile,” says Chris Critchett of MPYD.
Design with family-living in mind, the interior boats classic style, while accommodation configuration provides total comfort for ten guests. There is a spacious master suite, VIP cabin, one double and two twin cabins with Pullmans. There is also plenty of room for a professional crew of 6.
There are two tenders on the forward deck, which are launched with a crane. Hull 1015 is fitted with a VEEM gyrostabiliser, which makes it possible cruising in any conditions.
This sportfisher is powered by two MTU 3100 HP engines and has a fuel tank of 40,000 litres.
Hull 1015 will be delivered to her owner in December 2017.
