The all-new Yachting in Venice event has been recently presented in Venice. Set to run from April 21 to 25, the exciting new event will take visitors from the Pala EXPO Venice to the Venetian Arsenal, with a great variety of luxury yachts on display.
The new Show will be held in several exhibition venues. The pavilion designed by Michele de Lucchi for Expo Venice, a highly prominent location, which has already hosted an event related to EXPO 2015, will be the gateway for visitors arriving by land, and from there connections via the lagoon with all other locations will be made available. Next to the pavilion, on the Brentella Canal, the WaterPark will be dedicated to the world of small boats, while the larger boats will be moored at the Arsenal docks, with an exhibition on land presented in the large historic warehouses. Other locations that will be involved include the Dock of St. Helena, the Adriatic Docks of the Venice Yacht Pier, Certosa Island with the Marina Vento di Venezia and the Marina di San Giorgio at the Cini Foundation and the Compagnia della Vela yacht club.
“We have great ambitions,” said Carla Demaria, President of Ucina Confindustria Nautica. “And these ambitions are to bring the entire boating world to Venice, a unique city in which we want to transform those elements that may seem as shortcomings into opportunities. If Genoa is unique in terms of the facilities that can be used for a Boat Show, Venice is equally unique for its glamour, art, culture and hospitality. Visitors are in need of incentives and emotions to consolidate their passion, which they will find here.”
