The second edition of Yare – the refit and after sales operations show – starts tomorrow in Viareggio, Italy and runs until April 29th. This popular event will host more than 120 exhibitors, with 15% coming from 8 European countries.
The main news of this edition is the shape of the show, around Darsena Europa, the heart of Viareggio harbour. To connect the two sides of the basin there is a floating bridge, recalling an old iron bridge that was used for events during the ‘80s.
Remarkable is the participation of the “Refit Route”, the route outside the show along which it is possible to visit yards, workshops, and shops, located in the surrounding streets, via Savi, via Pescatori, viale Europa, but also till the town centre. A map indicating all the interest points will be supplied to all visitors.
A large delegation of foreign guests composed by over 80 members, mostly large yacht captains, will be present during the first two days of the show. To welcome the delegation in the best way, Thursday 26th will be organised an evening party in the foyer of Pucciniano Theatre in Torre del Lago, Maestro Giacomo Puccini’s home.
