YARE (Yachting After Sales & Refit Exhibition) will be once again hosted by Viareggio and Marina di Carrara from February 3 to 7, 2014. The most innovative event in Italy, YARE is dedicated to refit as well as after sales operations for the superyacht sector.
YARE offers a wide and multifaceted bunch of proposals to the superyacht business professionals, concentrated in a busy week, to make business as un-usual.
YARE’s main characteristic is to be more and more focused on strengthening the relationship between the yards, the supplying chain and the real decision makers of the refit activities: Captains and superyacht managers.
Born in 2011 to promote the potential of the wide and extended construction and repair system spanning in the region from La Spezia to Livorno (with Viareggio as a reference point) YARE on its 4th year wants to offer to companies and professionals of this sector a lively edition to improve the business in a non-conventional way.
The purpose of this project is to maximize the opportunities to directly meet technical operators who are the real decision makers for refitting operations as are Captains of megayachts, brokers, management companies, surveyors, international registry technicians, owner representatives, a very professional and skilled crowd with high decision and purchase power.
In different moments YARE will get deeper and up date the main topics of the sector through the 5th edition of Italian Superyacht Forum, the 2nd edition of Superyacht Captains’ Forum and direct meetings among the protagonists of the business.
Thanks to the co-operation with CarraraFiere, YARE is offering to refit yards and supplying chain companies the possibility to exhibit in a special dedicated area within the 12th edition of Seatec, the International Exhibition of Technologies, Subcontracting and Design for Boats and Megayachts.
THE DETAILED PROGRAMME
SUPERYACHT CAPTAINS’ FORUM
It’s based on round tables with 10 participants, Captains and companies representatives, discussing on refit topics, legal matters, crew, management, technicalities, etc. Every participant can switch from a table to another one to collect different opinions on different topics. It’s a very good opportunity also to network with other Captains or with other professionals.
ITALIAN SUPERYACHT FORUM
At its 5th edition, promoted and organised by The Superyacht Group, this international meeting is a good opportunity to hear from the panel the updating of the superyacht industry directly from the protagonists of the business. A wide and deep discussion among the panel and the delegates will add knowledge and perception of whole sector.
EXHIBITING AT SEATEC
The co-operation with CarraraFiere is going on also in 2014 and will permit the companies exhibiting in the 12th edition of Seatec to benefit of proper joint packages to participate to both events.

A very good occasion for refit yards and supplying chain companies to present to Captains their activities and products and widen their business chance.
TOURS
The Captains will be driven around Viareggio and along the neighbour coast to visit yards and companies, to check personally the facilities and the possible opportunity to take their yacht to this region.
