The first YARE Aftersales & Refit Exhibition that was held from 31st of March to 2nd of April in what is considered the heart of the superyacht production area Viareggio, received more than 3,000 visitors in three days; over 100 exhibitors in seven long tents along via Coppino with a total surface of 4,000 covered sq meters.
For the first edition of the first event in the world totally dedicated to this very important sector of the yachting industry, these figures are certainly positive.
From Thursday 31st to Saturday 2nd in Viareggio, the historical centre of the world superyacht industry, exhibitors gathered from many European countries: builders, brokerage agencies, designers, system constructors, registers, marinas who chose the exclusive occasion offered by this event to present their work, their services, and to compare with other operators of the after sales services and the refit area.
From YARE came a well co-ordinated and well organised image of Viareggio superyacht industry, thanks also to the presence in the show of primary and excellent superyacht yards as Codescasa, Azimut–Benetti, Sanlorenzo, Perini Navi, Fipa, Overmarine Group, Polo Nautico, Vismara Marine and companies dedicated to the after sales services as Gruppo Nautico italiano, Tecnopool, Yachtique, AR.PE.CA., U.D.I.N.A., Viareggio Ba.Se Refitting.
As representatives of the European industry, YARE welcomed shipyards such as Lurssen, Feadship, Monaco Marine, the Riviera Yachting Network, NCP and from the Dominican Republic IBC and Marina Casa de Campo; further more prestigious registers were exhibiting as Lloyd’s register, Bureau Veritas and Rina.
Conceived as a “B-to-B” event to let the companies show their offer and their know-how, YARE offered them also the possibility to discuss the subject through conferences, workshops and seminars and the connection with the Italian Superyacht Forum, organised by The Yacht Report Group.
The list of events “out of the show”, included visits to famous boatyards in Viareggio, visits on board refitted yachts, and cocktails thanks to the contribution of local companies such as Consorzio Ba.Se Refitting, Tecnopool, Arredamenti Porto, Yacht Management & Consulting, Motonautica Lucchetti, Awlgrip, Gruppo Nautico Italiano, Granaiola, Redbull, Yachtique and Sosema, Codecasa, Perini Navi and Navigo.
Yare was organized by Mareventi Srl with the cooperation and contribution of the Municipality of Viareggio, Lucca Province, Lucca Chamber of Commerce Industry and Crafts, CNA Nautical Production, Lucca Industry Association, Confartigianato, Lucca Promos and Toscana Promozioni, Unioncamere Toscana and with the fundamental contribution of the Zurich group.
