Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts has begun the year with the launch of its 73.6m/241ft luxury yacht BILGIN 243.
The technical launch took place on the 8th of January, and the BILGIN 243 motor yacht will now undergo outfitting for delivery in 2024.
She was built on speculation in Yalova with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with exterior styling and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, and a layout similar to the 80m/262ft BILGIN 263, luxury yacht TATIANA. The interiors have yet to be decided and are awaiting an Owner to make their mark.
Amenities are placed across the five decks, which are evenly divided up indoor and outdoor spaces for lounging, dining and entertaining. The sky lounge comes with a wet bar, while the main salon has a 16-person dining table as its focal point. Other notable features include the 50m2/538ft2 lower deck beach club, sauna and gym.
The accommodation layout currently consists of 7 en-suite cabins (1 Master suite on the upper deck and 2 VIP staterooms on the main deck, and 4 further guest cabins on the lower deck), however, this can be modified to be anywhere between five and nine. The Owner has a dedicated space on the upper deck providing a generous full-beam bedroom with his-and-hers en-suite bathrooms, a dressing room and office, plus a private outdoor area with Jacuzzi.
The twin main engines give 1,920 kW for a top speed over 17 knots, and a cruising speed of 12 knots with a range greater than 5,000 nautical miles.
