Following the successful launch and sea trials of the first Z72, Zeelander Yachts has announced that she had been delivered to her American Owner and has been christened DYLAN LUCY.
The 22m/72ft luxury yacht features an exterior design by Cor D. Rover in collaboration with the shipyard’s in-house team. The result is a classic appearance that conceals that latest technology to produce speeds of up to 40 knots.
Among her features is a sinuous form and a swim platform that can be concealed while in transit. The Owner was involved in the design process and personalised DYLAN LUCY for hosting onboard parties: A wet bar is placed at the entry to the salon, and on the foredeck, there is a sunbed where guests can enjoy uninterrupted views. JL sound systems are installed inside and out, and there are additional party lights for sensational entertaining long into the night.
The interiors were created by the in-house team and boast large windows for plenty of natural light and an efficient interior arrangement to maximise the available space. On the main deck, the sunroof retracts for more alfresco living experience with plenty of sunshine.
The accommodation provides for up to 6 guests across 3 staterooms: 1 Master suite and 2 double cabins on the lower deck, with the crew accommodation and facilities beside the tender garage.
Triple Volvo Penta IPS engines give DYLAN LUCY her top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, at which she has a range of 680 nautical miles.
